Mayor Albright signed a proclamation declaring Saturday, November 11 between 9 - 11 am time to clean up City Lake. This proclamation is working toward the realization of the combined efforts of Haleyville Schools and the City of Haleyville to continue developing the OUTDOOR CLASSROOM. Representatives from the HES/HHS Renaissance Program, SGA, FBLA, Civitans and other parties invite the public to help in the clean up of City Lake. Latex gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Plans for the Outdoor Classroom will benefit not only local students, but county wide schools, and private citizens that wish to hold family reunions and community events at the planned pavilion and outdoor amphitheater.
